The remaining Beatles still insist that the title for their most famously psychedelic moment wasn't an intentional spelling of LSD but instead a reference to John Lennon's son Julian drawing a picture of his friend Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Lucy Vodden died today, at the young age of 46 after battling with Lupus. This Team9 remix with visuals cut up from other Beatles videos is an interesting alternative to the original Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds most associated with the animated trip-film Yellow Submarine.
